Obituary for Calvin S. Rogers

Calvin S. Rogers, a 50 year resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on November 9, 2010 at the age of 87. Calvin was born on October 18, 1923 in Enid, Oklahoma, a son of the late John and Mary Knox Rogers.
He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II.
He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hunt and play golf.
Calvin is survived by his daughter, Sharry Reid and husband Jeriel of Colorado Springs; sisters, Fern Boswell of Severn, Maryland and Donna Naverstad of Appleton, Wisconsin; brother, Kale Rogers of Billings, Montana and by numerous nieces and nephews. Calvin was also preceded in death by his wife, Zola Mae Rogers ans a one brother, Bill Rogers.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, Lehmberg Chapel, 420 N. Nevada Avenue in Colorado Springs followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM with Fort Carson Honor Guard providing military honors.
Inurnment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Colorado Springs.
