Obituary for Shirley Jean Ross
Shirley Jean (Hanshaw) Ross passed away March 13, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Shirley was born in August 30, 1938 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Harold Hanshaw and Virginia (Voyles) Hanshaw.
After graduating in 1956, Shirley moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. She married the love of her life, John (Jack) Ross on June 19, 1959.
Shirley worked as a waitress for many years at The Broadmoor, and later at The Antlers Hotel.
In her free time, Shirley loved shopping, reading, going for drives, and spending time with her grandkids.
She is proceeded in death by two brothers, Robert Hanshaw, Don Hanshaw, and her daughter, Vicki.
Shirley is survived by her son, Roger (Rose) Ross, daughters Cindy and Paula, sister, Patricia Benton, brother, Jack Hanshaw, her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
