Alice M. Cortez, age 87, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away at home on Friday, January 31, 2020. She was born January 1, 1933 to Louis and Mae Garcia in Cimarron, New Mexico. During her life, she touched many hearts and was loved by all who met her. She was happiest when sharing time with her family and was devoted to their well-being and happiness.

Alice joins her mother and father; her husband of 50 years, Antonio Cortez; brothers, Louis Garcia and John Garcia; and sister, Elizabeth Trujillo in heaven. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Faidley and granddaughter, Kathryn Faidley, each of whom were the greatest source of happiness and pride for Alice.
