Obituary for Barbara Lou Harris
Barbara Lou Harris, 93, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021. Barbara was born to Harold and Annabel Kelley in Colorado Springs on February 22, 1928. She grew up on a thoroughbred horse ranch and thoroughly loved the outdoors. Barbara and her husband Frank enjoyed backcountry hiking, camping, and fishing. She lived her entire life in Colorado Springs and enjoyed traveling throughout the United States.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Franklin, mother and father, and brother Lawrence Kelley. She is survived by daughters Peggy (Dale) Fee & Linda (Dusty) Hampton, grandchildren Cheryl (Sonny) Espinoza, Cindy (David) Cumro, Megan (Ted) Taylor, and Branden (Tabbatha) Hampton. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home 1830 E. Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. Entombment will be held at Shrine of Remembrance immediately following the services.
