Obituary for Betty Eileen Fleming
Betty E. Fleming, 94, of Colorado Springs died Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Sunny Vista Living Center.
She was born September 22, 1925 in Minden, Nebraska to Otto and Vivian Nelson. Even though Betty grew up in Minden and attended school there, she was a long time resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
She loved to sing, fish, and bake, read and go to garage sales but most of all she loved time spend with her family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Richard L. Thompson and wife, Peggy of Florida, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Lt. Col. Dale R. Fleming, and daughter, Susan V. Paul.
Graveside service will be held in Hastings, Nebraska at a future date.
