Obituary for Betty Lucy Garcia
Betty passed away February 20, 2023, just 10 days shy of her 90th.
Betty was born March 2, 1933, in Raton, New Mexico. She was united in marriage to Candido Garcia on September 29, 1951. Together they raised their two sons, David and Dan.
Betty lost the love of her life on November 30, 2002 when Candido lost his fight to pancreatic cancer. Betty was a loving wife and mother.
Left to cherish her memory include, her two sons, David (Peggy) Garcia of Colorado Springs, and Dan (Lori) Baldwin-Garcia of North Bend, Oregon; brother, John Cardenas of Colorado Springs; sister, Pat Bailey of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and many nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son, four brothers and one sister.
