Obituary for Caden Lee Kinney

Caden Kinney was born in Colorado Springs on March 2, 2001 to Shane and Keri Kinney. He passed away on April 20, 2022 at the age of 21, in a tragic automobile accident, leaving behind so many that loved him.

Caden was full of joy, love, and adventure. He believed in seizing every moment and truly lived his life to the fullest. Caden had many interests including: snowboarding, hiking, fishing, anything outdoorsy, making music and spending time with his family. When Caden put his mind to something, he gave it his all and was a natural at everything he did. His determined spirit was contagious and admired by all. Caden truly made an impact on everyone he met, and to know him was to know love.

He is survived by his parents, Shane and Keri, who loved him more than words can express. He also leaves behind five siblings and their families: Haley Maldonado (Nathan) of Lubbock, Tx; Tylor Kinney (Annie), Maycie Vigil (Aaron), Colton Kinney (Michaela), and Cody Kinney (Talia) all of Colorado Springs. He is survived by his grandparents Joan and Glenn Shefferd of Lamar, CO., Diane and Gary Hassig of Colorado Springs, Co. and Lee Bear (Carol) of Pampa, Tx., as well as 12 nieces and nephews and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins, all whom loved him very much.
