Obituary for Christopher Ryan Laurie
On December 1st Christopher Laurie loving father to his only son Ryan, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Canon City at the age of 35.
Christopher was born on May 7th 1984 in Colorado Springs Colorado. He was a graduate of Florence High School and soon after he started his welding career.
Christopher was an avid fisherman, who spent most of his free time with his son Ryan out on the water, often joined by his niece, nephew, friends and co-workers. He loved hiking in the mountains, playing blackjack and softball. Chris a 49’s fan and Ryan a Saints fan often found themselves at playful odds over their loyalties for their teams.
Christopher is survived by his son Ryan, brother Lee and his children Tyler and Kaitlyn, his mother Peggy and her husband Terry and his father Lee Sr.
