Obituary for David Clark McCrary

David Clark McCrary, born 13 February 1986, the youngest of eight children, passed away Sunday, the 29th of November.

David grew up in Manitou Springs. Growing up, he participated in Scouting and activities at his church. He loved drawing, writing stories, and being outside with his brothers exploring all the many adventures to be found in his hometown.

His main love was cars and working as a mechanic. This led to him going to Anbar Province, Iraq as a civilian Humvee mechanic, which he loved and became very skilled at.

David was a friend to everyone he met and was always willing to help a friend in need. He will be remembered for his example of unconditional love. He will be missed by his family and friends and remembered fondly.

He is survived by his parents, Donna and Bill McCrary; four brothers: Mitchell, Nathan, Joshua and Benjamin; and three sisters: Julia, Roselle, and Sarah.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to freedomservicedogs.org in David’s name.
