Obituary for David Henry Cordova

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved David Henry Cordova on February 19, 2022. David was born on April 12, 1969, to Henry Cordova and Eliria Lopez-Cordova in Salt Lake City, Utah.

David graduated from North Summit High School in Coalville, Utah in 1987. He attended a trade college in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated in diesel mechanics. He served in the US Army in Desert Storm, Kuwait. He later met and married Karen Fredrich from Germany and have 4 children together, Mona, Caesey, Shantel and Tasha, all from Germany. He later married Loni and had a daughter, Journey and inherited two daughters, Brianna, and Brinley Thompson.
He was employed by UPS and worked for them as a driver until his death.

David loved riding motorcycles with his lifelong brother/friend, Sam Stolhand, camping, and was always the life of the party with his infectious laugh, pranks, crazy character, and great cooking skills. He loved singing and sounded like Frank Sinatra (NOT)! David loved our family reunions and was a pyromaniac of campfires. He thought he was a professional photographer of one infamous body part! David was a man of many traits, could fix any car and was a great handyman.

David always welcomed and loved the laughter and noise of children in his home as he reverted to his childhood with them. He was always entertaining for them in his mischievous, fun way, making donuts or any concoction he would create for all to enjoy. David loved and adored his nieces, nephews and cousins and was always there for them.

David is survived by his mother Eliria Lopez, Sunset, UT, Elaine (George) Gallegos, SLC, UT, Valerie (Louis) Gomez, Eleanor Cordova, Clearfield, UT, Rene Cordova, Clearfield, UT, Diane (Albert) Triay, Mira Loma, CA, Maria Aragon, Layton, UT, and Chuck & Steve Cordova, SLC, UT.
