Edward G. Garcia, aged 73, passed away at 7:27p.m. on May 22, 2021, of an unexpected illness. Edward was born on July 28, 1947 in Corpus Christi Texas. He moved to Colorado Springs with his family in 1994. He was a successful small business owner. Edward proudly served in the Vietnam War and received a Purple Heart as well as numerous other medals. Edward had a love for Halloween, movies, reading, and music.

Edward is survived by his 10 children: Lorrie Cooke (David), Roxine Hansen, Leonard Garcia, Angela Kempke, Susie Garcia Morales, Cliff Kempke, Eddie Garcia (Andrea), Hope Misuraca, Edie Garcia (Shawn), Talsha Garcia (Angel); his grandchildren: Danielle Kempke, Alexis Kempke, James Morales, Armand Garcia, Jessica Garcia, Magdelena Misuraca, Hope Pinales, Delicia Pinales, Isabell Goodoien, Luigi Misuraca, and David Garcia; his great-grandchildren: Ethan Robbins, Masen Kempke, Evony Garcia, Dandelion Durman, and Max Medina

He was preceded in death by his mother, Magdelena; his father, Everardo; his wife Shirley; and great-granddaughter, Shirley RayDeene Garcia.
