Obituary for Elizabeth McNeil Harris
Ms. Elizabeth M. Harris (“Bay”) was born on June 17, 1947, in Natchez, Mississippi. She passed away on November 19, 2021, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Harris, Jr., and her daughter, Terrilynn Harris.
She is survived by four children: Sheila Mason, Raymond McNeil, Tony McNeil, and Donald Harris. In addition, Elizabeth is survived by 7 grandchildren: Marquita, India, John, Zsuzsanna, Terrilynn, Kai, and Dior; and 7 great grandchildren: Asha, Kayla, Tyoni, Jaelon, Kailah, Marlique, and John.
She is also survived by 4 brothers, 15 sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A God-fearing woman and supportive wife, Elizabeth was a respected mother and a self-sufficient woman. She was loved, admired and listened to by many for her insightful guidance. She will be deeply missed by family and the friends she made.
Please join us in celebrating her life Thursday, December 9, 2021. The viewing will be held at 12:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel with a service following at 1:00 p.m.
