Ethelyn was born in Woodlawn New York to John and Lillian Dippel. In 1948 she married Richard Kair and they had 4 children. Richard passed away in 1978.
Ethelyn remarried William Bauer, May 22, 1983 in Marfa Texas. William was the assistant Border Patrol Chief there and they moved to Dallas when he retired. In 1997 they moved to Colorado Springs.
Ethelyn leaves behind 2 sons,Bruce Kaire and Brent Kaire, 6 grandchildren, Jimmy Kaire, Richard Kaire, Cassandra Marcee, Brittany Kaire, Noelle Conway and Stephen Kaire. As well as 6 great grandchildren,
Ethelyn was a member of the Pikes Peak Neighbors, Salvation Army Womens Auxiliary and the Red Hats.
