Obituary for Frederick William Jacobs
Frederick William Jacobs, 91, of Colorado Springs passed away on December 25, 2022.He was born on January 6, 1931 in Jackson, Michigan to the union of Ray William Jacobs and Thelma Elaine Fitzsimmons.
Frederick graduated from Jackson High School on June 17, 1949. After education, Frederick went on to proudly serve 20 years in The United States Army. Throughout this time, he was an aircraft mechanic repairing helicopter engines. Frederick earned an Army Occupation Medal (Japan), a Vietnam Service Medal with 4 bronze service stars, an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and many more. Mr. Jacobs last post was at Fort Carson Army Base serving from June 1970 to June 1976.
Frederick resided in Colorado Springs, making Holiday Village on Sinton Road his home for 22 years.
Frederick is preceded in death by parents Ray William Jacobs and Thelma Elaine Fitzsimmons.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his two children, Terrence Lee Jacobs and Cheryl Lynn Jacobs along with many other family members and friends.
He will be missed dearly.
