Obituary for Gilbert Anthony Espinoza Sr.

Gilbert A. Espinoza, 64 of Fountain, Colorado passed away February 11, 2021 at his home.

He was born in Pueblo, Colorado, October 22, 1956. Preceded in death by his parents Eloy and Edwina Espinoza. He is survived by his son Gilbert A. Espinoza II (Erin) and granddaughter Serenity, his brother Daniel Leroy Espinoza (Judy) and sisters Mary Dorothy Pratt (Jim), Kathy Diane Sandoval (Gilbert) and Patricia Ann Garcia.
His memory will continue in the hearts of many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, cousins, friends and fellow brothers in the Armed forces.

He proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He was a member of the American Legion Post 38. During his professional career he worked at Hewlett Packard in Colorado Springs and at Intel in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He enjoyed science fiction movies and TV series and you might even say he was a Trekkie. If you had the chance to meet Gilbert one thing you would never forget was his laugh and smile.

Respecting Gilbert's wishes he will be cremated with no memorial services. We ask that you keep our family in your prayers. We also ask if you would like to share a story about Gilbert with a loved one or friend so that his memory may continue.
