Obituary for Jacqueline Marie Crabb

Jacqueline Marie Cunningham Crabb,

Also known as “Jackie” to family and friends, was born on February 15th, 1947 to the late Richard E. Cunningham and Mary Louise Francis. She went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, September 15th, 2019.

Jackie grew up in Malvern, PA and went to school in Great Valley. She last worked for the Housing Authority of Chester County. She moved to Colorado thirteen years ago where her daughter Faith and her family reside. She was deep in your Christian Faith. She doted over her children, and her ‘grandbabies’. She enjoyed many craft hobbies and was an awesome cook. Though she was a private person, when she was in your presence, she was a ‘talker’ she could go on for hours. Sharing stories from the past were always nice and comforting to hear. With her contiguous laughter and infectious smile, you couldn’t help but feel her warmth. Not one to complain, as was evident in her last days, she went quietly to rest in peace. She wouldn’t want anyone sad or mourning over her for too long.

One of her favorite prayers of comfort...From the Book of Psalms,

Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
3 He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Along with her husband, Lawrence C. Crabb, Jackie was predeceased in death by her parents, brother Cecil, and sisters Christine (Chrissy) and Elizabeth (Betty).
Jackie leaves to mourn her loss, her children; Linda Crabb Lewis of Coatesville PA, Carmela C. Crabb of Enola PA, Lawrence C. Crabb Jr. of Exton PA, Faith Y. Bigley and her husband Heath Bigley of Colorado Springs CO, Richard E. Crabb of Upper Darby PA, her grandchildren; Julisa A. Riley and her husband James Riley Jr. of Suffolk VA, Heath Bigley Jr. of Colorado Springs CO, Brandie Bigley of Colorado Springs CO; Great-grandchildren; Julian Burns, James Riley III and Maliyah Riley. Her two sisters, Shirley A. Cunningham of Woodbridge VA, and Mary L. Zebraski of Pottsgrove PA, and her brother, Lesly A. Reason and his wife Karen of Woodbridge VA; and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
