Obituary for Jenny Lynn Hurley
Jenny Lynn Hurley was born on December 7, 1992, to Ronnie and Michael Hurley in San Antonio, Texas, and passed away on December 18, 2021 in the home she shared with her father in Colorado Springs.
Jenny was a Pediatric Medical Assistant who was furthering her education to become an RN. Jenny's passions and talents in her life were reading, playing many instruments, writing songs, and enjoying the outdoors, but the place her heart was focused on the most was for helping people, especially children. Jenny truly was at her happiest working in pediatrics and hoped one day to work in a NICU.
Grief is the last act of love we can give those who have gone on before us and where there is deep grief there is great love. In the end, no one is promised tomorrow, and when it is our time the Lord calls us home.
Jenny is survived by her father Michael Hurley; two sisters, Heather Whitted and Ashley Hurley; her brother-in law, Jerod Whitted; a niece and nephew, Olivia and Eli Whitted, and her Nana, Jenny Petersen.
Jenny was preceded in death by her mother Ronnie Hurley.
A visitation will be held at Evergreen Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery.
