Jerald Lee Hartshorn of Colorado Springs, Colorado, was born on October the 9th 1935 in Marion Ohio. He passed from this life peacefully in his home on January 1st, 2021.

Gerald, known by his family and friends as Jerry, was born to Cloy David Hartshorn and Catherine Leone Landon Hartshorn. They resided in Marion, Ohio. The joy of Jerry’s life was his family.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carol Louise (Schloss) Hartshorn; his children: Douglas Alan Hartshorn of Rogers City, Michigan; Tonia Sue Hartshorn Elliott (Reverend Mark Elliott) of Peru, Indiana; Stacey Renee Hartshorn Rudd of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Robin Kay Hartshorn Alires of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Jerry's grandchildren are Adam Hartshorn, Izek Hartshorn, Melissa Hartshorn, Christopher Elliott, Kala Elliott, Christiane Rudd, Heather Rudd, Daniel Rudd, Colin Alires, and Conner Alires. Jerry has 10
great- grandchildren.

Jerry was a second-generation builder. He loved fishing, wood working, sweets, and the Ohio State Buckeyes! Jerry loved his family more than anything. He will be missed until we meet again in heaven.
