Jesse Dean Short, 37, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, formerly of Buchanan Michigan, died at home unexpectedly, on May 2, 2021.

Jesse was born July 1,1983 in Michigan to Anthony Short and Tondy Ramsey.

Jesse was known for his unique laugh, making people smile, his genuine heart and his complete dedication to his beautiful daughters.

He is survived by his daughters, MaKenna Short and Madelyn Short of Colorado, MaKenna and Madelyn's mother, Ariel Scott, Layla Luker of Texas, and a grandson Jaxson, of Texas, father, Tony Short, stepmother, Debbra Short of Buchanan, Michigan and sisters, Chastity Jaeger of Berrien Springs, and Shari Abeyta (Toby) of Colorado Springs.

Jesse is also survived by Amanda Jarman (Travis) of Berrien Springs, Shannon Nichol (Michael) of Buchanan, nephew Cole Harding of Berrien Springs, Corbin Roggemann of Buchanan, Rockey Harding of California, David Foster of Buchanan, nieces Shyann Foster of Grand Rapids, Presley & Cash Abeyta of Colorado Spring, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
