Obituary for JoAnn Tallerdy
JoAnn Tallerdy, 69, peacefully passed away on June 17, 2023, at home with family surrounding her.
JoAnn was a kind, loving sweet person who liked to bake, and do arts and crafts. She loved to crochet blankets, that would win her first-place ribbons in county fairs. JoAnn enjoyed taking car rides through the mountains and listening to country music while spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many.
JoAnn was a person who lived her life to the fullest. She never let anything hold her back, not even being in a wheelchair held her back from doing the things she loved.
JoAnn leaves behind her husband of 53 years, Robert Tallerdy; children, Teresa Jackson Jennifer Torres, and James Tallerdy; son in laws, Kenneth Jackson and Wendell Torres; and daughter in law, Stephanie Tallerdy. She also leaves behind brothers, Jack Doutt and Mark Doutt, along with grandchildren, Deanna, Jessica, Angel, Bianca, Shawn, Erica and Sarah, and great grandchildren Lilli and Adrian.
A service will take place at Pikes Peak National Cemetery on July 7th, 2023 @ 11AM.Following the service there will be a potluck get together at 2pm at the family home to celebrate JoAnn’s life.
