Dear Jason and family - We are so sorry for the loss of your mom Kay. We hold so dear the wonderful memories of the friendship, being neighbors, garage sales, our dogs Bear and Candy being best friends, and Jason, Aaron and Tracy growing up together. What fun and crazy things we did!
Kay is one of the most special ladies I have ever known and we are all blessed to have had her. Take joy that she is now at rest and with Doug. God Bless you, The Salladay's - Gordon, Debbie, Tracy and Aaron

Dear Jason, Donna and Kay's entire family - I am so thankful to have know Miss Kay. I worked with her during a portion of her time with Colorado Springs Park and Recreation Department. She was an amazing preschool teacher, parent advocate and City representative. Her classrooms were always full of the joy of learning! She was greatly missed when she began employment with Community Partnership for Child Development but her skills continued to grow and the numerous children she taught grew as well. I was blessed to spend time with Kay when she and Marty would visit my booth at local craft fairs and most recently Kay, Marty, Calisse and I gathered to share wonderful lunches together. Kay was always so positive and interested in how we were doing. Her loss of her beloved husband Doug put a strain on her that time was healing. She was very proud of her son Jason and of her grandchildren. I saw Kay at a track event where she was cheering on her grandchildren and loving the moment. The photo you posted of Kay is perfect, shows her true beauty. May the many memories and words people share with you about the love Kay shared bring you comfort. I know the world was a better place for hundreds of children thanks to Miss Kay. Rest in peace my dear friend.
Blessings. Mary Munoz LaBrecque
