Obituary for Lillian Elaine Bearfoot
Lillian Elaine Bearfoot, age 92, went to be with our Lord Jesus Monday, November 23, 2020, as a much loved resident of Cottonwood Ridge Assisted Living, Rocky Ford, Colorado. Lillian was born January 19, 1928 in Calhan, Colorado to Henry and Letha Haase. Lillian married Robert (Bob) Bearfoot, and they were married for over 40 years. They had two sons, Rodney L. Bearfoot and Gregory A. Bearfoot.
Bob and Lillian owned and operated Courter Supply Company in Calhan for many years and worked side by side. Lillian loved working in the public and being with people. Lillian loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was someone who was incredibly good at being a friend. Lillian attended United Methodist Church in Calhan, until her move to Rocky Ford in 2017. Until she was no longer able, she enjoyed waking at 4:00 a.m. every day to take a 5-mile walk. She loved the Lord, was always thoughtful and considerate of everyone and loved her dogs.
Lillian is survived by her daughter-in-law, Paula Bearfoot; her granddaughter, Heidi Bremer; her grandson, Lee Bearfoot and great-grandchildren, Zane Bearfoot, Cody Danley, Shiloh Bremer, Kincade Bremer, and Samantha Houston. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her brother, Duane Haase and sister, Gloria McElvain, son Rodney, son Gregory, and granddaughter Holli. Lillian was a very gracious and loving lady who will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
Graveside services will be held at the Calhan Cemetery, in Calhan, Colorado on Thursday December 3, at 1:00 in the afternoon. Evergreen Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
