Obituary for Lorina Dawn Messenger

Lorina Dawn Messenger, 55 of Boone, Colorado passed away on April 28, 2022. She was born in La Grande, Oregon to Robert Ernest Huff, Jr., and Caroline Cassie Lehner. Lorina lived in several states including, Montana, Idaho, and Hawaii before moving to Colorado.

Lorina worked as a substitute teacher for Avondale Elementary, librarian at the Giodone Library, volunteered for Bantom league football, was PTSO president of Avondale Elementary and she was also a relief society president at one time and then a seminary teacher for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was an avid craftswoman in ceramics, jewelry, and paintings it was her passion.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Carl L. Messenger; sons, Carl L. (Sammantha) Messenger, Andy (Madisyn), Dakota; daughter Sierra (Alex), along with one grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am, on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Stake Center, 4720 Surfwood Lane, Pueblo, Colorado.
