Lucila Molina, 69, passed away in Colorado Springs, Colorado surrounded by her family on Monday, May 10, 2021. She fought a long and courageous battle with cancer before winning the battle and being called home to be with our Heavenly Father. She was born August 18, 1951 in Laredo, Texas.
Lucila grew up in Laredo, Texas where it was in high school that she met the love of her life, Liberto Molina Sr. They were married in Laredo, Texas, and later traveled around the country living a military life and eventually settled in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Liberto Molina Sr.; father, Santiago Paez II; and her mother, Virgina Paez.
She is survived by daughters, Lucinda Molina and Alma Molina (Gary Wyche); son, Liberto Molina, Jr.; grandchildren: Adan Mata, Allea Molina, Austin Molina, Jose Mata, Sheridan (Gerardo) Valdez, Lianna Mata (Andrew Gonzalez), Liberto Molina III, Joe Wyche, Anela Wyche; great-grandchildren: Henri Foster Jr., Ziahanna Foster, Sophia Gonzalez, Emanuel Gonzalez, Madeline Valdez, Wyatt Valdez and Olivia Valdez; and her brothers, Santiago III Paez (Itza Stern) and Raymundo (Yolanda) Paez.
