Marjorie Ann Bendrick (Marj), of Colorado Springs, passed away on March 15, 2021 at the age of 95, in the comfort of her home at Melody Living. She moved to Colorado in 2010, from Wisconsin, after the death of her husband George. She was born in Wausau, WI, on October 7th, 1925. She grew up in Wausau then met George whom she married in 1947. Together they raised a family of five children, Jerry, Bob, Mike, Nancy and Pat.

Marj proved that you are never too old for adventure and major life changes, by moving at 84 years old to Colorado Springs to be near her family. She was an avid reader, knitter and coffee drinker, enjoying the last ten years getting to know and spend time with new friends and family here in Colorado Springs. She loved her family and will be missed by all.

Marjorie is survived by four children: Jerry (Lana) Bendrick, of Colorado Springs; Bob (Laura) Bendrick, of Cheyenne, WY; Nancy (John) Pearson, of Alexandria, VA; and Pat (Renee) Bendrick, of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband George and son, Michael Bendrick.

She will be laid to rest in Deforest, WI, next to her late husband George, later this year. A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, Colorado Springs, at a later date.
