Obituary for Marjorie Jean Worthington
Marjorie Jean Worthington passed from this life on October 26, 2021, at the age of 91, in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born in Topeka, Kansas on June 2, 1930, to Albert and Pauline Kreipe, the second of four daughters.
She met Wayne Worthington at a softball game and following graduation from Highland Park High School, married him on June 9, 1948. They farmed in the Topeka area until 1969 when they relocated to Colorado Springs, where they lived until moving to Pueblo in 2007.
She was a member of the Church of Christ. Marjorie joins in heaven her husband Wayne, her parents and three sisters. She is survived by her son, William Worthington (Frances) of Colorado Springs; daughter, Georgia Jean White (Tony) of Pueblo; two granddaughters and two great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery (1005 S. Hancock, Colorado Springs) on Friday, November 19 at 2:00 PM, followed by a family gathering at the home of Bill Worthington. Memorial contributions may be made to Center Care Hospice, 4718 N. Elizabeth, Ste. B, Pueblo, CO 81008.
