Obituary for Michael Curt Merrill
On Friday, February 25th, 2022, Michael Curt Merrill, passed away due to complications that arose following an open-heart bypass surgery at the age of 74.
Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He had a long career in education and healthcare.
He was notably proud of the work he did with Emergency Medical Services for Children. He loved the outdoors and was especially fond of fly-fishing Colorado's rivers. He is remembered fondly by those who knew him for his compassion, strong will, kindness, and sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Terry Merrill, his children: Shondra Burke (John Burke), Jim Fouch, and Jennifer Miller (Mark Miller); his grandchildren: Siobhan, Jack, Xan, and Gabby; and his two dogs, Sergeant and Pepper.
