Obituary for Phyllis A. Gross
Phyllis Arlene Gross, long-time Manitou Springs, Colorado resident, passed away May 4, 2021. Phyllis was 84 years old and the eldest daughter of Verlynn and Dorothy Augustin, both of whom have preceded her in death, along with her younger sister Bonnie Kay.
The family moved to Yoder, Colorado from Adair County, Iowa in the late 1940’s before settling in Colorado Springs.
As the mother of three and Grandmother of five, Phyllis always loved and provided for her family.
Phyllis graduated from Colorado Springs High School, class of 1954, and had notable long-term careers in Colorado Springs with Heyse Sheet Metal and Roofing and Colorado Interstate Gas. She was a diligent worker.
Her family wishes to thank all of those who assisted her these past few years in dealing with her illness.
