Her family attended the Victor Baptist Church for many years where she “gave her heart to Jesus at age sixteen” and learned to play the pump organ. In 1949, she graduated from Victor High School, married, and moved to Colorado Springs. She served her church family at Monument Valley Foursquare and The Grace Place, teaching Sunday School, Good News Bears, Vacation Bible School, singing in the choir and playing the organ. Along with her church work, she was very active in SCAP and The Mom’s Group.

A funeral will be held Friday, Dec 17th, at 1pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Her final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery. The family is hoping to have a celebration of her life the weekend of Victor Gold Rush Days in July, 2022.
