Obituary for Robert Michael Miller

Chief Master Sergeant, USAF (Ret) Robert (Mike) Miller died in his home on November 22, 2021 due to complications of lung cancer. He was 75.

Mike was born on September 21, 1946 in Xenia, Ohio to his parents, Bob and Katherine Miller. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in January 1965 and eventually met and married is wife, Lois (nee Bruno) in 1987. He held the titles of Heavy Radar Superintendent, USAF Noncommissioned Officer Training Instructor and Wing Senior Enlisted Advisor. He retired in January 1994. He spent his remaining time caring for his wife’s father and his grandchildren Jordan Bremer and Ella Ledezma. He also mentored several small businesses and volunteered with the Better Business Bureau.

Mike was known for his integrity. Above all he would instill “do the right thing” in all his relationships. He inspired creativity and dedication in others as his life-long goal.

Mike is survived by his wife Lois, his brother, Richard and his two granddaughters, Jordan and Ella. He is preceded in death by his parents Bob and Kate, his sister Sue his brother David and daughter Nicole.

Mike will be buried in the Pikes Peak National Cemetery. A Memorial will take place on take place at Evergreen Funeral Home on December 8, 2021 at 4 pm. A reception will follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mike Miller’s life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
