In Loving memory of Setsuko M. Fabrizius, 87, who passed away in Colorado Springs, on September 12th, 2019.

She was born in Japan on March 2nd, 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Richard C. Fabrizius, (deceased 2004), to whom she was married to for 39 years.
Raised in Japan, the pair met while she was a civilian worker on the military base and they were married February 12th, 1965. She loved her life as a military wife of an Air Force soldier. Setsu and Richard traveled with their growing family to Germany and the Dusseldorf Japanese market, to Munich, Belgium, Paris and The Keukenhof in Lisse, Netherlands for the Holland tulip festival, which was her favorite annual trip.
She was a loving and devoted mother to her two children and was a stay-at-home mom through their adolescent years. She, her husband, and children were avid bowlers. They bowled in many leagues through the years, and supported their children in their enthusiasm for the sport. She was proud to become a citizen of the United States in the 1980’s. She worked for many years with the Yakitori company in Colorado Springs where she and her family settled and retired. Through her work at Yakitori, and her participation in the local Red Hat Society, she met and became a loving and devoted friend to many. She enjoyed lunches, having coffee and visits with her friends and family and took great joy in sharing her favorite Japanese dishes with all. Her recipe for fried rice will continue to be passed down as a family favorite.

She is survived by, son, Charles A. Fabrizius of Colorado Springs; daughter, Cynthia (Fabrizius) Mack of Arlington, Texas; daughter-in-law, Sharon (Rinn) Fabrizius of Colorado Springs; son-in-law Freddy Mack, Jr., of Arlington, Texas and her beloved grandchildren, James Ryan Anderson; Dylan M. Fabrizius; Joshua G. Mack; Jakob S. Mack; Jonathan J. Mack, and one great-grandchild, James Nathan Anderson. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to whom she was loved and will be dearly missed.

Memorial service will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 10am, and she will be laid to rest immediately following, next to her husband at Evergreen Cemetery. Reception to follow at 2582 Anjelina Circle West, Colorado Springs, 80916.
