Virginia (Ginger) Hunt entered heaven on August 7, 2020. She was born in Phillipsburg, Kansas on April 3, 1939, graduated from Limon High School, and moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she met and married the love of her life (Verlon Hunt).
She was a wonderful homemaker, and spent time working at Zebulon Pike Elementary and Holmes Middle School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Hazel McCall, her siblings, Bob and Jackie McCall, and husband, Verlon (Red) Hunt.
She is survived by her children, Marchane Hunt, Renee (David) Hunzie, and Dale (Lisa) Hunt; siblings Judy Sallee, Bill McCall, Terry McCall, and Jimmy McCall; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
There will be a private family Memorial Service at Evergreen Funeral Home at 1:00pm on Friday, August 14, 2020, after which Ginger will be laid to rest with her husband at Pikes Peak National Cemetery in Colorado Springs.
The family is thankful for the host of friends and neighbors that have expressed their condolences. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest memorial donations to Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
