William Anthony Pedicino, a retired geologist and resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on December 19th, 2021, at the age of 70.

William is survived by his wife, Jane Pedicino; his children, Theresa Myers and her spouse Jason Myers, Anna Pedicino, Geralyn (Geri) Hall and her spouse Jacob (Jake) Hall, and Rachel Kendrick and her spouse Drew Kendrick; his grandchildren, Ruby and Olin Hall and his twin sister, Angela Schmidt. He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Pedicino, his Father, Anthony Pedicino, and his family pets, Rosco and Frankie.

William was born in Q ueens, New York on September 29, 1951, to Anthony Pedicino and Margaret Murray. He graduated from C.W. Post with a master’s degree in Geology. On August 31, 1974, he married Jane Sirois, whom he met while in college. On March 22, 1979, June 25, 1981, January 21, 1986, and November 17, 1991, he welcomed his four beautiful daughters, who were one of the most important parts of his life.

William was a devoted father and an avid dog lover, especially for his Labrador, Naos. He enjoyed his retirement in Colorado and established a newfound hobby of hiking in the mountains. William enjoyed watching his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers and even enjoyed cheering on the Denver Broncos with his wife, Jane. He was a spiritual man who spent many of his days volunteering and attending services in his catholic church, Immaculate Conception in Colorado Springs. William lit up whatever room he walked into with his friendliness and humor. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who crossed paths with him.

A visitation is scheduled on Wednesday, December 29th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Colorado Springs at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. and a Mass at 11:30 a.m. Reverend Father Gordon will officiate. Jane asks that donations be made to The National Kidney Foundation, which William was a strong supporter of due to his personal experience with Kidney Cancer. Flowers and condolence may be offered at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80910.
