Obituary for Randle William ""Randy"" Case

Randle William (Randy) Case, 79, born January 31, 1937 in Campbell, Missouri left this earth in peace on April 15, 2016 after a 2+ year battle with pancreatic cancer.
When he was 1 year old, his family moved to Colorado Springs and built a reputation for real estate marketing with J.L. Case Realty and its successor, The Case Company. Randy graduated from Colorado Springs Main High School (now Palmer) in 1955, Colorado College in 1959 and joined the family business soonafter. This included the family homebuilding company, Casco Homes and insurance company, Case Insurance Agency.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lena Gail, three sons, Randy II, Lindsay, and Rob, their families and his brother, Art; seven grandchildren, Kurt, Brennan, Lauren, Ryan, Will, Lindsay, and Lilly plus many nieces and nephews & loving extended family. He was preceded in death by brother, James (J. L.); sisters, Dorthas Goodnight and Gerie Spellman.
His great delight was to travel whenever he could manage the time away, and he and Lena Gail earned the title, “The Traveling Suitcases”. As a result they owned homes in Ft. Lauderdale, Maui, and Scottsdale and enjoyed entertaining family and friends in those places.
A cultural delight was hosting two foreign students to attend Cheyenne Mountain High School. The first girl was from Braunscheweig, Germany, Irmheld Reetz and then Flavia Ribeiro from Rio de Janeiro. They are considered family members to this day.
Celebration of his life will be held May 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, John Stevens presiding. A reception will follow in Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, gifts are encouraged to
