Obituary for James Bernal Ford
James B. Ford died peacefully at a local hospital surrounded by his family and friends on April 29, 2016.
Jim was born in Colorado Springs and has been a lifelong native. He was married to June (Helpap) on September 20, 1986. He is survived by his wife, daughter, Mary Ann White (Jeff), son, Patrick Ford (Rachel), 3 grandsons, Robert, James and Aaron, and a granddaughter, Anna. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Claude, brother, Sam, daughter, Theresa and son, Matthew.
Jim graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1966. He worked for Cobb Mechanical and the Timken Company. He was a member of Rock of Ages Lutheran Church. He enjoyed traveling, camping and hiking with family and his furry friends, Buddy and Miller. He was a wonderful, caring, giving man with a big heart and will be missed greatly.
