Obituary for Charles Edward "Charlie" Branson
Charles Edward Branson (Charlie) was born January 21, 1932 to John Brooks and Annie Mae Cason Branson in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He passed away on June 11, 2016 in Colorado Springs.
Charlie was a loving father, brother and husband. He retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years of active duty. His Air Force career took he and his family to Germany, Turkey, England and Thailand.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Frances; his daughter, Jahanna Michelle Swenson; brother, William Nathaniel Branson and a sister-in-law Alice Foster and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters, Sharon and Jennifer and seven siblings.
