Obituary for Louis Joseph "Lou" Marold Jr.

Louis Joseph Marold, Jr. was born on October 6, 1944 in Colorado Springs to Louis, Sr. and Audrey Marold. He was a lifelong resident of this area. Louis worked as a Personnel Director.
Louis passed away on August 6, 2016 in Manitou Springs. He is survived by his brothers Richard, Ronald and David. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Audrey.

Lou Marold was a wonderful person, quiet, warm and caring, he loved sports and rigorous athletic activity, running marathons and playing a scratch game of golf.

Professionally, he was innovative as a personnel director of Maxcor Mfg. and he created programs which provided jobs for the handicapped and an education program whereby aspiring employees could earn a college degree with all expenses paid.

Lou was an affectionate and generous uncle to all his nieces and nephews, enthusiastically following their pursuits academically and athletically. He took tremendous pride in all their achievements.

With confidence and love we bid him a fond farewell and quote Micah:

This is what your heavenly father asks of you;
Only this,
To love tenderly,
To act justly,
And to walk humbly with your God.
