Obituary for James Bunker

James Bunker, 50, died unexpectedly on Thursday December 29th 2016 at his home in New Jersey after an apparent heart attack.

James Boyd Bunker was born April 15th 1966 in Salida CO. He attended school in Calhan CO where he enjoyed playing football , saxophone and leading the band as Drum Major. After graduation Jim became a weather specialist for the US Air Force where he also served as support for Desert Storm. After 10 years of military service he joined the National Weather Service as an Observing Program Leader. Jim loved studying and forecasting weather. He was a very respected member of his team. Jim was also a DJ for a couple of radio shows which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Jim traveled the world including places such as Germany, Alaska, NY, NJ, Oregon and Guam where he married his wife Victoria in 2004. He is survived by his wife Victoria and her 3 sons Stephan, Torrin and Gabe He is also survived by his daughter Maggie, Mother Jackie Neldner, Father Leroy Bunker(Beverly), brother Shane Bunker(Barbie), sister Terri Svendsen(Eric), and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in Death by his youngest sister Tammi.

Jim loved to seek new adventures and live life to the fullest with his wife Victoria. He had a witty sense of humor always found time to help or mentor a friend or family member. He will be missed by his family and the many dear hearts he touched.
