Chuck worked for the Railway Express Agency (REA) for 25 years and when the REA closed down he became a self-taught Locksmith. He enjoyed music, teasing and laughing, playing pool, camping and fishing, and the used restaurant-equipment store he co-owned with his brother Bill in Old Colorado City, he always said the West Side is the Best Side! He was a Pastmaster of the Masonic Lodge in Manitou Springs. He was a member of Calvary Worship Center and loved being greeted by the brothers and sisters on Sunday mornings.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father Pascal Peter Miller, mother Cora Calvert (McCoy) Miller, sisters Freda and Helen, brothers Floyd, Robert, and William and followed by his son Mark on the same day.
