Condolence: I wish to extend my condolences to all the family in this time of sadness I have been in the surveying profession for more than forty years, working in generally the same beautiful mountains as John. His memory will live forever each time one of his survey caps... "RLS 6842" ...is found. I can think of a whole lot of them as I set here wondering where all the years have gone.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of meeting John when I worked in the Teller County Clerk's Office. His smile brought a ray of sunshine with each visit. My sincere sympathy to your family.

Condolence From: Loren
Condolence: Dear Walker Family,
I would like to send my condolences. It can be extremely difficult to lose a loved one. That is why I wanted to share the hope found in the bible, the hope of the resurrection. Jesus stated at John 5:28,29 "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will come out." And at Revelation 21:3,4 it states that there will be a time when "...death will be no more."
These scriptures give us hope for the future as respects to our dead loved ones. Those scriptures have brought comfort to me and I hope it does the same for your family.
With Love,
Loren

Condolence: I worked in the Post Office and got to know John. I teased him about being from Arboles. Little did I know we were both born in Durango just 2 years apart. He was a delight to visit with. My husband knew him professonally and liked him a lot. So sorry for you loss. He was a nice man and a joy to have known him.
